"Going to" and "Will"

How to Differentiate between "Will" and "Going to"???

• When you just made a decision

         
         e.g. " I know! I will cook instant noodles".

                                                                 

• Later,

        
e.g.  A: "Hello! What are we going to have for   dinner?

        B: "We're going to have instant noodles"

Be + Going To + Verb 

• The verb after be + going to must always be in the original form of the verb.

                    e.g. The tree is going to fell (x)

                           The tree is going to fall (/)

•       Be + going to’ is very often used to talk about plans or decisions that have already been made.

•      ‘be + going to’ is also used to predict something in the future, based on evidence we can see.

                    e.g. Look at those dark clouds. It is going to

                          rain soon.

•The be verb must agree with its subject.

        e.g. Priya and Kamal are going to jog in the

             park tomorrow morning.

            Jacob is going to jog in the park

            tomorrow morning.
